NV Quinta da Fonte Nova Tawny 20YO (bottled 2021)

Quinta da Fonte Nova Tawny 20YO, bottled 2021 in 50cl. Deep brick red, 80% opaque. Faint but lovely nose showing dried strawberries, rose petals and sweet dates. A fine texture on the palate, sweet dates with lovely layers of fruit, honey and sugar. A hint of coffee on the aftertaste and finish, a little menthol giving a flush of warmth, and a long length of torched sugar, singed citrus and honey. And a little kick of red pear right at the end of the finish. Available through LaDo wines in Oporto. An extremely impressive 20YO.  93/100. Tasted 20-Apr-23.
