Mature brick red, 80%. Limited nose, some spiced sweet dried vine fruit. Astonishing palate, an explosion of fruit and spices, a multi-coloured fireworks display of flavours. Rich chocolate and dried cherry on the long finish. 92/100. 21-Feb-23. Decanted 4 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
