Mid red, early maturity. Just opaque at the centre. Gentle black cherry on the nose, a little caramelised. Great structure on the palate. Spiced cherry fruit, slightly sweet but very fresh. Lovely drinking, still in its early stages. 93/100. 21-Feb-23. Decanted 4 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
