1974 Graham Single Harvest Tawny (bottled 2021)

Bottled 2021. Lovely nose of golden syrup and lemon oil. The palate is smooth and satisfying with lemon and golden syrup. Thicker on the palate than the 1997; full of citrus fruit and zest. Delightful acidity. Fresh aftertaste, full of citrus zest. Big, balanced. A delicious wine. 94/100. 21-Feb-23.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
