1999 Kopke Colheita (bottled 2022)

Kopke 1999, bottled 2022. Open 24 hours. Fresh roasted nuts on the nose, along with sweet and fragrant orange zest. Wonderful acidity on the palate, intense flavours - dominated by orange oil and roasted almonds. Rich and very full. Long orange and caramel finish. Delicious, rich and balanced. 90/100. 05-Feb-23.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
