2011 Kopke White Colheita (bottled 2022)

Bottled in 75cl in 2022, purchased from the Kopke shop on the cais in Vila Nova de Gaia a few days before being opened. A pale gold colour, 10% opaque. Faint lime marmalade on the nose, sweet orange zest on the palate building up well towards the mid and late palate. A big burst of lemon marmalade on the aftertaste, which lingers well as a pleasant lemon oil. Attractive and quite elegant in style with an astonishingly long finish that lasts as long as Elton John playing Pinball Wizard at Glastonbury. 89/100. Drunk 25-Jun-23. Open 1 hour.
