It really was an emergency.

Re: 1970 Graham
A lovely mature red colour, pure in tone; 80% opaque. Fragrant nose, floral and perfumed, filling the nose with fragrance. Smooth entry with generous redcurrant and lots of spice. Perhaps a little spikey, the fruit being generous but the alcohol protruding a little (a problem which was fixed by cooling the glass in an ice bucket for a few minutes). A lovely finish, bitter cranberry with hints of blueberry, generous and long. A nice glass of wine, but not spectacular. 91/100. Decanted 4½ hours.
