We were invited to join a tasting organised for some visitors from the Carlton Club on the second morning of our two night stay at Noval. The tasting included this wine.
Colheita 2007, bottled 2023. Deep orange colour, 50%. A lovely expressive nose, sweet and fragrant. Delightful texture! Dried rose petals, cinder toffee, apple acidity keeping the palate fresh. Gentle grip on the aftertaste, lemon oil and a little menthol. Impressive finish - in length and volume of flavour! 90/100. Tasted 21-Jun-23. Pop 'n' pour.
