We were invited to join a tasting organised for some visitors from the Carlton Club on the second morning during our two night stay at Noval. The tasting included this wine.
10 year Old Tawny, bottled 2023. Brick red colour, 60% opaque. 110g residual sugar. Served cold but showing a little red apple and toffee. Toffee apple, toffee, a little coffee; delivers lovely layers of flavour. Toffee and milk chocolate aftertaste leads to a dried plum finish. Great length, impressive complexity. 88/100. Tasted 21-Jun-23. Pop 'n' pour.
