Kopke 2005, bottled in 2022. Deep orange in colour, 40% opaque. Butterscotch and orange zest on the nose. Pleasant on the palate with dried cherries and orange zest. Honeyed yet with a nice lemon acidity. Fresh, tasty but in an enjoyably everyday way. Lovely orange caramel finish. A nice wine which I will enjoy drinking, but not a wine which will set the world on fire at this point in its development. 87/100. 1/2 hour.
