Oporto bottled. An attractive mature copper shade of red, 20% opaque. Hollow on the nose, showing almost nothing. Smooth entry, a nice texture to the tinned fruit cocktail in syrup flavours. A touch of sous bois on the late palate, along with a little strawberries in syrup. Inoffensive and quite pleasant. 86/100. Decanted 7½ hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

25% opacity, copper red. Dusty red fruit on the nose. Extracted red fruit, cranberries, still retains good structure, though drying out. Mature and enjoyable.

Orange-red. Not much on nose. Unspectacular on palate.
