Double decanted at 07:45.

(notes for Glenn ;) :
Decanted from bottle into decanter through single piece of sterile gauze;
Decanted from decanter back into bottle just using funnel)

Smells lovely.

30% opacity, mature red-orange. Nose has a little TCA. Shame about the TCA as the palate has lovely chewy strawberries.

Remarkably dark colour for age. Nose more than a bit off though. Nasty. Hot on palate. Off, alas.

TCA spoiled nose, TCA spoiled palate. Horrible.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
