2020 Quinta da Boa Vista Vinha do Ujo
Boa Vista Vinha do Ujo 2020. Ujo is a north facing vineyard in Quinta da Boa Vista comprising a mixed field blend of 25 different grape varieties. Incredibly fragrant on the nose, full of fruit and floral perfume. Still very young on the palate, full of fruit with tremendous acidity. Exquisite fine grained tannins give a very, very long cranberry finish. Such an exquisite wine which needs a long time in the bottle to mature fully. 95/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
