A bit cloudy. Smells okay at best. Nice mature palate however.

Quite cloudy and something not quite right with the nose. Palate was better, but not by much. No thanks.

OBV77, red, 40% opaque. Soft, flabby, heat mid palate. Harmless.

Nose: red cherries, a touch of spice
Palate: red fruits and tannic grip on entry. Minerality in mid-palate. Red cherries and a touch of Bakewell on the finish. Good.

1977 Offley Boa Vista: Slightly cloudy, mature rose red in colour; 60% opaque. Slightly jammy nose, but good fresh fruit on the palate. Medium bodied with a nice grip and good bright fruit. A little simple on the palate with youthful fruit dominating. Some harsh acidity a the aftertaste but the finish opens beautifully, highlighting the cranberry and aniseed flavours. Very enjoyable. 88/100. Tasted 11 June 2024. Decanted 13 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
