Decanted 24 hours
Deep red, 95% opaque
Nose of cranberry, orange, dark chocolate. Smells ‘velvety’.
Smooth entry, smooth palate, smooth finish, just a tiny lick of fire that makes me think maybe at peak in a couple of years.
Plate is juicy and plummy. Quite sweet and not overloaded with acidity. A rather pleasant fruit salad quality, complete with orange- based syrup. Some red apple, late.
Meaty quality on the finish I very much like.

A very enjoyable glass of port - sounds like you found as much orange in this as I did. I'm a fan of that!
