1911 Sandeman

Post by jdaw1 »

An unknown brought by Tony and discovered to be 1911 Sandeman, tasted at the Heritage B&B near Weymouth on Friday 15th November 2024.

Sandeman 1911: light, some bitterness, good length. Should have been drunk seventy years ago.

Also see 1910 Offley.

Browning pale rim. A bit dumb on the nose, possibly a bit acrid. Quite butch on the palate however, with cinnamon on the finish.

Tasted 15/11/24

Bottled by Harvey's of Bristol; straw colour, pleasant but very past its prime.
