please could people bring a fully mature Port for which there are two or fewer tasting notes on the Tasting Note Data Base.
can I ask what 'fully Mature' actually means date wise I can't imagine a 2022 vintage would qualify and I'm sure an 1890 would but where is the transition point ?
The normal rule is 21 years, I would personally say 35 years plus.
My wife and I are coming to London on Holiday arriving on the 19th and we were hoping there is room for two of us at the B&F that night. (The B&F is on the bucket list and we planned on going regardless; famous to me from reading about it here). Would love to meet all of you and share some lovely Port together.
I likely need to adopt one or two if you are amenable; I am at my vacation house where I do have one bottle that fits the theme---just have to see if I can fly with it.
Thank you for you consideration--it appears someone put our names on the attendees list. HUGE Thank You Julian!! We'll get our order in for food ASAP!

Great that you both can come, please don't worry about flying with a bottle, you can adopt two of my bottles.
Thanks,
Harry

The reason for my 6 bottles being blind, is mainly for the scoring and not guessing.
I believe there is no tasting notes on 3 maybe 4 of these.
These 6 bottles will be tasted first and scored, with a slightly different way of guessing what is what, before we move on to the other bottles for the blind guessing fun and games.

Please, what is the first name of Mrs M.?
Please, both of you be encouraged to post a food order (menu).
I remind you of the rules: if your food order is wrong, that’s your fault for not checking the food order. Mistakes happen: I am human; I am mortal; I have inside me Graham crusted. It is your job to check.

Shamefully, I didn’t indicate I’d like the sirloin to be prepared rare (sorry!). Please could I ask that the food order be updated. Thanks.

Apologies: a stupid careless typo. And, worse, not even the first time: see the Taylor circle in the placemats of 12 Sep 2023; the 1994 circle in the placemats of 06 Feb 2024; and more blatantly in placemats of 11 Mar 2024.

Inexplicably, I failed to sufficiently associate the adjective with you. Believed fixed.

And I have guessed whose is what. Such guesses can be corrected.

When setting up seating, would appreciate my wife and I being placed next to each other as I am sure we will be sharing the chef's creations---thank you. Quite excited about coming over, getting acquainted and sharing some lovely Ports.
