Re: 19 Feb 25 (TBC) - Niche-interest bottlings & old reliables
My wife and I are coming to London on Holiday arriving on the 19th and we were hoping there is room for two of us at the B&F that night. (The B&F is on the bucket list and we planned on going regardless; famous to me from reading about it here). Would love to meet all of you and share some lovely Port together.
I likely need to adopt one or two if you are amenable; I am at my vacation house where I do have one bottle that fits the theme---just have to see if I can fly with it.
Thank you for you consideration--it appears someone put our names on the attendees list. HUGE Thank You Julian!! We'll get our order in for food ASAP!
Thank You

May I have the final place and be moved up from the reserve list?
May I also request to adopt a bottle as I’ll be flying into LCY with only hand luggage that afternoon/evening.

Re: 19 Feb 25 (TBC) - Niche-interest bottlings & old reliables
The reason for my 6 bottles being blind, is mainly for the scoring and not guessing.
I believe there is no tasting notes on 3 maybe 4 of these.
These 6 bottles will be tasted first and scored, with a slightly different way of guessing what is what, before we move on to the other bottles for the blind guessing fun and games.

Updated draft of the food order.
I remind you of the rules: if your food order is wrong, that’s your fault for not checking the food order. Mistakes happen: I am human; I am mortal; I have inside me Graham crusted. It is your job to check.

Subject to Harry approval, the 14th place might be taken by the acceptable face of Wiseman.

Apologies: a stupid careless typo. And, worse, not even the first time: see the Taylor circle in the placemats of 12 Sep 2023; the 1994 circle in the placemats of 06 Feb 2024; and more blatantly in placemats of 11 Mar 2024.hadge wrote: ↑10:26 Fri 14 Feb 2025all good other than my initials have a little error, HTHW should be HTWH thanksjdaw1 wrote: ↑00:06 Thu 13 Feb 2025Current draft of the placemats; pictures added to the first post.
