Young fresh blackcurrant nose. Smooth palate, ripe fruit with lots of floral perfume and gentle tannins. The aftertaste drops quickly but neves goes completely. Drinking nicely at the moment and with more promise for future development than the Six Grapes tasted alongside it. 89/100. Tasted 18-Feb-2025.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
