1962 Sandeman

1962 Sandeman, tasted 19-Feb-2025. Decanted 17.00, tasted 20.00. Pale dusty rose color, 40% opaque. Fully mature on the nose with gentle redcurrant jelly. Pleasant ginger and raisin on the palate, fully mature. Ginger heat on the aftertaste, ginger biscuit on the long finish. 84/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
