1984 Fonseca Guimaraens Panascal
1984 Fonseca Panascal. Pale rose red in colour, 40% opaque. Inoffensive nose, very gentle jellied red fruit. A little more offensive with a bit more time in the glass. More pleasant on the palate, but bitter and light-bodied. Jellied redcurrant finish. 82/100. Guess: MsC84. Was: FP84.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026

Yellowing at rim. Tastes quite fiery but palate decent.
