1963 Warre

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

1963 Warre, bottled by Berry Brothers. Decanted 3 hours. Wonderful mature Port, spiced with plenty of red fruit on the nose and palate. A little hot on the aftertaste, just a touch light bodied with some heat on the aftertaste and finish, dominated by red jelly lozenges. 89/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
