Sandeman 1955 from magnum. Slightly more evolved in appearance than the S55 poured from bottle. An attractive nose of peppery and sweet cranberry fruit. Lovely smooth fruit on the palate, but coming with a delicious brightness. A little drier in style than some of the other 1955 VPs at this tasting, with fine fruit lingering on the palate, even a touch of blackcurrant cordial. Wonderful. 89/100.
