Hooper 1955. Pale golden colour, 10% opaque. A slightly oxidised orange nose. Orange oil on the palate with just a little touch of oxidation and some coffee and white pepper. Warm tangerine marmalade finish of great length. Entirely tertiary - but surprisingly good! 84/100
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
