Mz55. A lovely bricke red colour, 50% opaque. Restrained sweet and fragrant dried fuit. The dried fruit on the palute has a lovely maturity to it with delightful gentle tannins sitting in the fruit. Delicious, lingering dried red fruit finish. Gentle pepper and a long length. Very gentle, very mild - somewhat too mild compared to some of the bigger wines at this tasting. 88/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
