Quinta de Val da Figueira 10YO Tawny

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

I’ve just been gently nudged about whether we might be interested in ordering some more 10YO Tawny from Quinta de Val da Figueira in time for Christmas.

It’s available in 6 packs priced at £150 per pack (that includes duty, VAT and EPR). Packs can be collected from the importers offices in Victoria.

The only hurdle we have to jump is that we need to order a minimum of 36 bottles.

Please post below if you’d like some. If / when we reach 36 bottles, I’ll place the order.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

That puts us half way to another order…

Just in case it’s not obvious, if anyone wants fewer than 6 bottles, it’s still worth posting in this thread so we can put together a collective six-pack. (But you would have to figure out who collects the box and where other people pick up from.)

I'd be keen to take a couple if anyone wants fewer than 6 and is available in London to sort out collection (and then for me to collect from them when I'm in London). No problem if this doesn't work out but this is a delicious wine and I'd like to have a couple more bottles of it for near-future drinking.

I’ll take the residual from six. So RON + JDAW = 6.

Lovely stuff, I assume you'd be willing to collect and then I will grab a couple of bottles from you at a tasting over the winter - is that ok?

That’s 36 bottles and enough for another order.

Anyone want to add to the 36. I’ll give you a couple of days…
