Faulty

Lots of VA on the nose, although less from the glass than when first poured. The palate is spoiled by the VA, giving a harsh tone to the fruit. The finish shows what this could have been, with a long tannic grip and a lingering aniseed. Pity this is spoiled by the VA. Not rated. Decanted 2 hours.
