Reddish-brown, orange rim. Mute nose. Palate a bit grumpy. Flash of cherry jujube later. Warm finish.

1970 Hutchison. Double decanted 9 hours. Mature bronze colour, little on the nose. Light bodied with limited flavour initially, but a dominating bitter streak. Some dried red fruit flavours. Pleasant enough. 82/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
