OBV70: dark red, 50% opaque; very bitter, unbalanced, not quite right.

Later, less bitter.

1970 Offley. An attractive dark bronze colour, 80% opaque. Fragrant nose with attractive floral elements. The palate is a little flabby, a little hollow, but with some fruit appearing on the mid-palate. A nice rose-hip aftertaste before a tangerine oil finish of good length. Very nice. 89/100. Oporto bottled. Double decanted 6 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Note taken on 12/10/25 from sample kindly bottled on night. Browning rim, red centre. Attractive nose. Palate is well fruited and attractive in a strawberries and cream sort of way. From Alex's side of the table, I think. Attractive but not stellar.
