The Horizontal of 1970s, definite article, was held over two days and five flights, Thursday 2^nd and Friday 3^rd October 2025, at the Boot & Flogger, as organised by Mike who was assisted by Julian.

Fr70: red-red-orange, 40% opaque; though dominated by bitterness, strangely, I still liked.

1970 Ferreira. Mature bronze colour, 70% opaque. Some gentle dried berry on the nose and palate. Mature fruit all over the palate with an impressive complexity. Lovely lingering brown sugar and baked Bramley apple finish. Lovely. 90/100. Oporto bottled. Double decanted 5 hours.

Note taken on 12/10/25 from sample kindly bottled on night. There were two samples labelled Ferreira. Colour is light. Palate is pleasant but a little acrid.
