My day has become more complicated — I need to attend a funeral in Poole. So I’ll be coming direct from that to this.

Either:
• Pls can I transfer a G66 to somebody before then? Or
• Pls may I adopt rather than bring?

There is now a small but positive chance that I might be able to make this tasting (arrangements for the bft are progressing well) - please could I have the last seat?

Assuming I am able to make it, the only 1966 VP I own which is not already being brought is Berry Brothers Own Selection. Or I could just bring a second bottle of Fonseca. After all, why would we not want to have two bottles of the wine of the night?
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026

Thank you. The placemats have been accordingly amended, and images are still in the first post.

As would have been obvious from a brief inspection of the ranks, D96 has been my usual quaff for ages.

I’ll order on the day since my chances of attending are small (but positive).
