Thanks for posting so efficiently. No surprise on the winner! Fonseca just seem to have knocked it out the park in that period. Thought the Dow may have been higher

This was a delightful evening with a significant number of very good ports many of which could have been WOTN in other tastings. While the Fonseca AHB and Fonseca PW were predictably strong, I particularly enjoyed the Avery and Ferreira, both of which were new to me, and the Sandeman, which was a particularly toothsome example.

It was also lovely to see everyone!

@ Mike J.W. - apparently a blend of 5 of Sandeman, 5 of Fonseca, and 1 of Taylor. I am sure there was Taylor in it, as the heat is an unmistakable characteristic.

An enjoyable evening, but not really blown away by anything.
Will probably continue to buy 66s when they're good value but unlikely to actively seek them out.

I agree with that lot ... WOTN for me was the company which as always was brilliant

An excellent evening with great company. Concur with the above. Good wines but I will not seek out unless excellently priced. Enjoyed Warre, Fonseca and Noval.
