This will complicate things more...when people vote for a presidential candidate, even if that person get the majority votes, there is actually a seperate group (the electoral college) that actually casts the vote. They almost always go along with the will of the voters, but not always. So even if a person gets the majority of votes, the electoral college can vote for a different person to be Pres. Confused, yeah so am I

"Super Tuesday" is when my Partner's 9 year old son has PE, swimming and football training all on the same day, which, by coincidence, is always on a Tuesday.
Why is this relevant to what's going on in The Cacusses?
I'm more confused than ever now

I took that as a given. If it happened on other days, you'd sound rather odd calling it Super Tuesday.
Anyway, moving on from Censorship....(It was a picture of the Queen sitting with the Scots Guards. One of them was having kilt problems, family jewels and all that! )
Thank Goodness that women has failed.
Obama's first big test is to NOT offer her vice-presidency. I wont hold my breath.
If nothing else, he is much smarter than to put Clinton on his ticket. My theory is it will be a more conservative white male with considerable military experience that can immediately deliver at least one swing state. If he could find a Dem. with those credentials that could absolutely carry the state of Virginia, it would be "check mate."
So here we are , Labour Day
Obamas running mate heads the Foreign Relations Commitee .
McCains running mate is a 44 yr old brunette , whose vast political experience amounts to 14 months as Senator for Alaska and who asked a few months ago : "What does the Vice-President do ?"
I think It should be very obvious to all , who made the right choice : McCain !!
He chose someone whom he could smoke cigars with
It was rather funny watching some of the newscasts, though, as the talking heads desperately tried to make it sound like a race, all the while ignoring the elephant in the room that was the west coast.
We knew within 15 minutes of the polls closing on the east coast that Obama had won, because he had a 103-34 lead that quickly with New York not yet decided (but presumed to be for Obama). California by itself is 55 electoral votes, Oregon is another 7, and Washington is 11. (Pennsylvania, Florida, and Ohio had not been decided at that point, but also couldn't be reliably predicted.) And it would have been a MASSIVE upset of any of those states had gone for McCain, so the election was basically over by 5:15 Pacific time. Yet the talking heads tried desperately to come up with scenarios that could still create tension for their newscasts.
