Part of the 30th September 2008 offline at TCP.
This was decanted about 20 hours ahead of consumption. It was a pale ruby colour and I seem to recall saying at the time it felt like it "danced down my throat"! There was a lot of very fine sediment despite decanting being through a coffee filter. It probably would have benefitted from a second decanting.
Most interesting was the lead tag around its neck - somewhat corroded but clearly marked 1970 but not in any way branded.
A very enjoyable wine.
