A bottle that I've had for some time, opened because I needed something that wasn't port.
Absolutely wonderful wine. Mature and at its peak, this was a lovely shade of burnished orange; smelling extremely inviting, full of oranges and floral perfume. Exquisite flavours, both sweet orange and a lovely streak of ripe acidity. Long finish, bringing memories of warm sunny evenings with the sun lingering on the grapes.
Just delicious wine, at its peak, but with no rush to drink up if you like your wine mature and ready. 94/100. Drunk 5 September 2010.
