Re: 1994 Dow vintage port
One of my favorites
No change in color from the younger 2007.
Spicy cinnamon and allspice on the nose backed with some sweet crushed black peppers. Blueberries flesh out the nose.
Sweet lush blueberries on entry with some sweet black licorice. Thick and uncouth with a good underlying acidity to keep it in balance finishes of crushed red berries and sweet tobacco.

Lamont:
1994 (24+hrs)
Dark blue/purple hue with a dark burgundy rim. Lovely, dark floral fruit on the nose - blueberry, blackberry, raspberry and tar. Sweet and ripe on the palate with loads of dark berries, wonderful balance, silky tannin and a long finish. Went along perfectly when I tried it with the filet mignon. Great vintage port - reminded me of the 1980 at a younger stage - just purely delicious. 95 pts
