I wish. Enjoy, but without me.
If paperwork is needed I can help, in secret if need be.
Edit: make me a tentative whilst I confer with
higher powers .

Put me down for a place - although I'll have to check the domestic diary when I get home tonight.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.
2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Does Chinese food go well with leftover vintage port?

The Chinese seem to like Pink Port, so probably not.

As it is now less than 2 weeks to this special event TCP would be able to provide the quite delicious 'bone in rib eye' for all if they had plenty of notice...I am making the executive decision that all attending would like this (with the exception of JGH and Caroline)...any objections please shout.

Sorry, not me. Exclude me out, alas.
However, if wanted, I’m still willing to help with paperwork if necessary, secretly.

Unfortunately, I have to withdraw from this intriguing event due to the fact that I will be approximately 500 miles north of the Crusting Pipe on 23rd April.
Have fun, and thanks for the invitation.

Can I reserve a space for next year please! I am of course presuming you intend this to be a new tradition at TPF!

That would be most helpful. I am still a long way behind in typing up my tasting notes but this would save me a job.
