Mid orange, 30% opaque. Amazingly fragrant nose, a touch of VA and a slight tone of antiseptic. Sweet entry, but hot on the palate and very restrained in fruit. Sweet and mature palate but some balancing acidity. Very simple and straightforward. Sweet and sticky aftertaste, sweet raisin finish. Very simple. (Vintage guessed to be 60, 63, 67; shipper guessed to be Offley, Butler Nephew, Tuke Holdsworth.) 84/100. Drunk after 22 hours decanting.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Light-red, fading to pink. Quite hot on the nose. Some little fruit. Acidic and grippy but no tannins. No primary fruit but quite smooth creamy aftertaste with some sugar. Quite nice.
