Re: 1927 Sandeman
S27. Red-brown, 40% opaque. To taste very hot, and light. Then a sweetness, light-weight and long. Later I noted ‟light, half-burnt sugar, sweet”.

Re: 1927 Sandeman
20% opaque; deep gold in colour with a red hue and golden rim. Closed on the nose, some lurking intense black treacle. Nice texture in the mouth; full bodied, sweet and intensely flavoured - very big on the palate. Big, sweet mouldy orange aftertaste and a modest finish of sticky texture. Absolutely delicious. After 5 hours in the glass this had developed a very thick texture, but the flavours were more subdued. 91/100.
