a Brit looking for help

There's a thread over at FTLOP posted by a Brit who received an old bottle of Port and he's trying to figure out what it's worth. We've figured out that it's a 1912 Real Compania Vinicola, but it prominantly displays "Garrafeira" in the largest font so we're not sure if it's a VP, a Tawny, or an actual Garrafeira.

Just thought you guys might want to take a look.

Since the laws at the time around 1912 werent so strikt as they are now, many producers or private port-owners did not bottle their Vintage Port within 2 years after the harvest. Many of the old bottles I had so far did mention that they are Garrafeiras, so they most probably spend more years in the pipa and were bottled later, in some cases up to 15-20 years.

They should not be confused with Dirks Niepoort Garrafeiras.
