1952 Dalva Golden White Colheita

Golden colour, very pale with even a hint of green on the rim; 10% opaque. Slightly dirty on the nose; a touch of VA very faintly showing over the almonds. Lovely flavour spreads over the tongue; develops beautifully - soft and gentle with a lovely elegance and balance. Big aftertaste; mouth-filling and long lasting. 94/100. Drunk 18 October 2011.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
