1910 Constantino Colheita (bottled 1971)
Bottled in 1971. Cloudy, opaque and with a green rim. Foul nose, perhaps oxidised and bad or perhaps just pronounced bottle stink. Hollow entry, bland with only some white pepper on the mid palate. Hot aftertaste and a bitter, dry finish. Not a good bottle. Not rated. Drunk 14 October 2011.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
