1934 Dalva Colheita (bottled 1973)

Bottled 1973. Very dark brown in colour, opaque and cloudy. Soft on the nose, not expressive and with some VA. Sharp acidity on the tip of the tongue; not much fruit but there are some pleasant flavours and development. The aftertaste is modest, but the finish is good and lingers. Not a great wine. Not rated. Drunk 14 October 2011.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
