1966 Graham vintage port

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Deep red in colour, paler on the rim; 40% opaque. Minty on the nose, with a touch of lemon grass. Soft and balanced entry. Sweet amd mature fruit dominates the palate, with a lovely balance - very mouthfilling. Dry touch to the aftertaste, and then a long and surprisingly youthful finish. This is delicious. 94/100. Drunk 13 October 2011.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
