Tasted with some fellow port lovers at da Roeda in October 2011:
bottled 1931, recorced 1942 due to corc problems.
Cloudy brownish colour, very intense though. Spicy, caramel nose with lots of herbs and toffee. Extremely concentrated in the palate with haselnuts, malt, toffee and coffee aromas. Aftertaste for minutes and even more. Though this port is tired, it is extemely impressive to drink now. 19
