Served as an aperitif to the Matrix Tasting on 11 October 2011.

Very floral nose, full of spring bluebells and redcurrants. Smooth entry, full bodied with modest tannins, bags of fruit and a lovely balance. Delightful aftertaste. This is really nice drinking. 89/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
