Ch85, brought by AHB. Red, 65% opaque. Initially a not good nose, with some red fruit and just as much stink. DRT said ‟rubber”. To taste acidic and cloying. Yuck.
But two hours later better. The nose had rogan josh yes, really. A good one too. But the palate still not quite right. My worst bottle of Ch85.

Firm red colour, 90% opaque. A touch of VA on the nose - cherry flavoured VA! Sweet in the mouth, a little smokey, with strawberries and soft tannins. Warm cherry aftertaste, slightly acidic finish of good duration. On the lighter and drier side of medium bodied. 84/100. 8 hour decant.
