Radio 4 Extra is running a repeat of the 2009 series by Billy Kay which looks at the links between the Scottish and some of the great drinks of the world. Yesterday's episode took a look at the involvement of the Scottish in the development and production of Port. Well worth spending half an hour listening to Peter, Paul and Dominic Symington, Peter Cobb, Johnny Graham and a number of others talking about their roots and their ancestors involvement in the industry.
You can hear the episode on BBC iPlayer until 8am on Saturday 9th June.
Next week's episode is about Madeira.
