1912 Graham vintage port
G12: The bottle cracked whilst pushing the cork in! Orange-orange yellow, 20% opaque. Nose very quiet. Very little heat. A hint of apricot. Very short. Not quite dead, but barely alive. Â JDAW.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Re: 1912 Graham vintage port
Very pale, pale orange with a green rim. Huge dose of VA on the nose, dominating everything and giving a plastic tone. Sweet and sugary on the palate. Gentle apricots and mandarin on the palate, pleasant and soft. Lovely aftertaste, quite long and full of apricots. Poor on the nose, light but with a delicious palate. 84/100. 12-Jun-12. Pop 'n' pour.
