NV Ferreira Tawny (Dona Antonia Reserve)

Dona Antonia Reserve Tawny. Deep red in colour, bricking rim. Little showing on the nose and a rather hollow entry but with a strong acidity and a suprising dose of soft tannins. The late palate fruit shows nicely and delivers some good levels of complexity. The flavours on the finish are soft and gentle. Perfectly pleasant. 84/100. 13-Jun-12.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Ferreira Dona Antonia Reserve Tawny: red to dark red, 50% opaque. Lovely. Heat. Grape flavours, good length. €8-9. Buy.
