NV Offley White (Cachucha White Reserve)

Cachucha white reserve Port (approx. 7 yrs old). Barley sugar in colour, but with an off-putting plastic resin nose. Thick and enjoyable texture, with honey flavours and nice acidity; full-bodied and mouthfilling on the palate but disappointing and hollow on the finish. 75/100. 10-Jun-12. Decanted 1 hour.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
